Who We Are

Grace Lutheran Church was founded more than 140 years ago by a small congregation of Swedish immigrants that wanted to share their common quest to walk with Christ. Over the years, our church grew and expanded, while we continued to gather together to learn and experience the word of God. Our congregation was built upon the cornerstone of similar ideals and beliefs that invites people from all backgrounds, opinions, and interests to worship together.

Today, more than 150 members worship here with a common purpose: to praise God, to study his word, to learn his ways, and to serve others. Grace Lutheran Church is an open congregation and you don't need to be a "Lutheran" to worship with us. We invite you to walk with us, because it's so much more fun than walking alone.

We are:

• rooted in our Lutheran tradition, but grounded in Christ.
• open to learning new ways of doing things.
• searching through Bible study.
• studying and supporting one another in our common calling as Christians.
• teaching our children to know Christ.
• praising God through traditional Word and Sacrament worship.
• reaching out to those in need in a variety of ways, here at home and around the world.

You are a child of God. Please join us each week at the Lord's Table!
